Our village recently made postcards to advertise our MI gathering. We got our first response from someone who already belongs to a Young Adult group and inquired about the possibility for our two groups working together.
We sit outside the coffee shop and place a small statue of the Immaculata on our table. During the Christmas season the Mission Inn gets a lot more visitors then usual, so there are quite a number of people who pass by our village. As they walk by, I sometimes get a chance to notice their eyes gazing upon our statue of Mary. I am sure for many of them it is a moment in which they are looking upon the Immaculata for the first time, turning that single moment into what we like to call a moment of grace.

December 2 over 50 Spanish speaking people came to the MI Village. 25 people were consecrated during the Mass.
The Annual Christmas party was a beautiful occasion to come together as a family, to sing, visit with the elderly in local convalescent homes, play, pray and feast. The following day, MI adults went to share the miraculous medal with the homeless at the winter shelter at St. Christopher’s parish. One gentleman took the medal hanging around his neck and kissed the image of Mary as tears rolled down his cheeks.
