November 13th 5 couples and 6 individual
adults made their act of total consecration.
They were prepared be way of a power
point Biblical presentation on Mary, along
with her dogmas (by Joe & Sue), the DVD
from Marytown on St. Maximilian and the
MI, and an explanation of the total
consecration prayer by Ann O?Donnell.
Children programs were run by Village
members, Alex & Sharon Soberon and
Massimo & Mary Breda. About 25 kids
prayed a simplified prayer of consecration
to Mary. The celebration finished with a
pot-luck for some 80 MIers.

I have a small family village group that
will meet say, four times this year. I will
also be going to St Michaels School in
Los Angeles once a month to prepare the
8th graders for the total consecration in
June during their annual school retreat.

prepared 15 individuals for their act of
total consecration on December 8th.

Late November and early December the
FKM and MI members were very busy
preparing groups for the total consecration
on December 8: at St Vincent de Paul
Church in Huntington Beach (25 consecrants) organized by Steve Lovison; San Lorenzo Ruiz in Walnut (15 consecrants) organized by Carmen Denning, Spanish speaking in two sessions (25 consecrants) with radio and TV presentations done on the total consecration and Patricia Treece?s biography on St. Maximlian Kolbe by Anna Brizzi.
FKM, Jillian Cooke, traveled by car with 7 MI Young Adults to Marytown for the annual MI Young Adult Gathering over the New Year. She reports a very successful Advent Retreat with the young adults.

luvinglife4u@gmail.com "....to extend a hand to many unhappy souls, to strengthen good innocent souls, to help all draw closer to the Immaculata, Mediatrix of All Graces...." We experienced this founding goal of the MI as we teamed with our parish adult choir to carol at two assisted living facilities, lead the English decade of the rosary at the annual diocesan Las Posada, as well as distributed holy cards and miraculous medals to a local homeless shelter on Christmas Day.
After the 11:30am Mass of the Solemnity of Mary the Mother of God we will pray the rosary and have refreshments at the Masek?s. We look forward to organizing our parish Living Rosary for January 20. February 24-25th: Parish MI Lenten Retreat preached by FKM, Ann O?Donnell.
